We've found it works best on stand alone computers, as their hard disk is usually "C:/".

"Fake Format" pretends to format your hard disk. We've tried this out on some unsuspecting soul and got excellent results, but we won't go into that. Fake Format also simulates the sound of your hard disk to add extra realism. With such a small file size, this program is a highly recommended download. It will function on most Windows machines (including NT Workstation).
